What the AI Companion can and cannot do

The AI Companion is designed to support reflection and practice, not to impersonate a professional or take responsibility for a person’s safety.

Useful support

Where available in the app, typed interaction and realtime or voice support can offer reflection prompts, communication practice, activity guidance, and next-step suggestions. Users can select companion visuals in the app’s supported settings.

What it cannot do

It is not a human therapist, does not diagnose, and is not medical or legal advice. It is not emergency support and cannot contact emergency services. It cannot guarantee an outcome or understand every situation correctly.

Safety redirection

Do not use the AI Companion for active violence, coercive control, stalking, self-harm risk, or immediate danger. Move to appropriate professional or emergency support. A shared exercise should never be used to pressure an unwilling or unsafe partner.

Privacy boundaries

Messages, voice input, transcripts, and relevant context may be processed by the service pathways described in the Privacy Policy. Avoid entering intimate details that are not necessary. Private conversations are not presented as automatically visible to a partner, sponsor, employer, or insurer.

Try this

Use the Companion to prepare a question, practise a respectful sentence, or choose a small reflection—not to make a diagnosis or verdict.
