What this policy covers

This policy explains how Couples Quest handles account information, partner linking, relationship content, diary and vault content, media, AI prompts and responses, voice interaction, support requests, vouchers, purchases, and safety signals.

Information you may provide

The app may involve account identity, profile details, partner links, course progress, reflections, diary or journal entries, images, video, audio, documents, report choices, support messages, and voucher or entitlement records.

Private and shared relationship content

Diary and sensitive reflections stay private by default, partner memories are isolated, and sharing should happen only through explicit user action or approved privacy settings.

AI and voice processing

Therapist and guide features may use local fallback behavior and a third-party AI service provider for realtime or cloud-aware features. When an AI feature is active, prompts, voice input, transcripts, and relevant conversation context may be sent to that provider. Provider-side retention, transcript storage, audio retention, model-training status, and zero-data-retention details are described in the privacy policy and product documentation.

Firebase, Google Cloud, and device permissions

The Android app includes Firebase Analytics, Messaging, Authentication, App Check, Cloud Functions, Realtime Database usage for selected backend guardrails, internet access, audio recording permission, notifications, and FileProvider-based media handling. Public Data safety statements must match the final production build.

Payments, vouchers, and rewards

Google Play purchase records, entitlement state, vouchers, gifts, sponsor benefit records, points, badges, credits, and progression records may be relevant to future operation. Purchase, voucher, and entitlement rules are described in the product and policy pages without naming any amounts.

Domestic abuse and safety

Privacy choices must not be used to control, shame, surveil, or pressure a partner. If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing coercive control, ordinary relationship exercises may be unsafe.

Retention and deletion

Current app guidance says local vault retention continues until Delete All Local Data or uninstall. Some local stores and key material may need a stricter future hard-wipe flow. Exact deletion periods, export rights, account deletion pages, and server retention are described in the privacy and data-retention pages.

Your rights

Users may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict processing under applicable laws such as POPIA or other local laws. The public policy uses careful neutral wording until the legal framework is finalised.

Security

Couples Quest uses safeguards such as encrypted local storage and App Check-protected backend paths where documented, but no digital service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Couples Quest isn't intended for children. Any age, parental-consent, and Play policy wording is presented carefully and kept aligned with the app's actual release settings.

Advertising and marketing

No production advertising or marketing tracker is added by this website. If advertising or analytics is later approved, the policy and Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated first.
